Fall Fun #2--Hubers!

More pics from Jason's camera. We went to Huber's Family Farm with Jenny, Anthony, Layton, Heather, Peter and Emma on Sunday. We had so much fun in the pumpkin patch, playing with the animals, playing in the kids' area and then overindulging ourselves for a family style country dinner. I think we will make this an annual family tradition. Fall is so fun! Enjoy the TON of pictures I took below. Once again they really show Addie's personality.

Swinging with daddy on Saturday night at Mike Linning's restaurant

At Huber's picking out a pumpkin. Next time we'll go earlier in the season because most of them were rotted and picked over. :(

Love them!

One of the only family photos of the day. Addie wanted down to play with the pumpkins.

Kissin' Cousins

Our little lover lovin' on Emma. They were so excited to see each other because they see each other at daycare all of the time.

How cute are these two?

Heather, Peter and Emma...beautiful family

Addie loves her uncle Anthony

I love this picture! I love Jeremy and Addie's look...

I can't even begin to describe to you, blog readers, what this chick was doing. She was laughing/kinda fake laughing at the top of her lungs and making this face. Needless to say she was the center of attention for quite a bit! What a ham!

She was saying what a rooster says, "Doo doo doo" in her version

Happy Halloween!!!

Fall Fun #1

I covet Jason's camera! Oh, how I wish I owned his camera! Jason is a good friend of mine from work and let me borrow his Canon Rebel for the weekend. So I'll be posting several posts this week highlighting our wonderful fall weekend as a family. The pictures below are outside our house. We have two huge maple trees in our side yard that are the brightest yellow/orange I have ever seen. Addie and I were playing outside and I thought I would take some pics. I think a lot of these show off her personality! Enjoy and stay tuned...

The picture below still doesn't even give that tree justice. It is gorgeous! I love fall!

She likes to pick up this little pumpkin and move it from the front porch to the driveway and back. She tries to pick up the bigger pumpkins too, but that doesn't work out too well!

Showing our support for my friend Erin Riley. She just had surgery to remove a malignant tumor on her ankle. She has a rare form of cancer, but the doctors are hoping that the surgery is all that is needed. You are in our prayers, Riley! Praying for continued good news and a speedy recovery!

We love fall!

We had a fun fall weekend! On Friday night we got to spend more time with Robyn and Laura while Robyn was still in town from LA. We had a yummy dinner at Robyn's parents' house and enjoyed everyone's company. On Saturday Jeremy's dad had his annual work party at their house. It was a fun evening, but very cold with the chilly wind! Addie went on her first hayride and enjoyed the bonfire. Sunday was a busy day, but after youth group we went out to the Pumpkin Caper in the church parking lot. Our church has a boy scout program and they always have pumpkins for sale to support the troop. We're looking forward to the real deal next weekend when we head to Huber's Farm!!! We love this time of year! How can you not with the beautiful colors, marvelous smells and delicious food? Like tonight Jeremy made chili and I made pumpkin bread. Yummy! Have a fabulous week! Enjoy the sunshine...Hallelujah!

Stylin' in mamaw's wagon with her new coat and hat. It was soooo cold!

With Papaw on the 4-wheeler

Look at this cutie! Doesn't Layton look like an old man? :)

By the bonfire. They were both fascinated!

Trying to stay warm as a family on the hayride! Addie kept saying "moo" because there were a lot of cows.

So cute! Getting ready for the hayride...

Goofy Alex trying to stay warm!

Playing with some fall decorations

Love this girl!

Crazy hair after a nap but still a silly girl

At the Pumpkin Caper at church. Addie climbed to the top of this haystack and thought she was on top of the world!

Lovin' the big pumpkins!

10 year reunion and more

Last weekend was my 10 year high school reunion. It was great to catch up with people I hadn't seen in years (and some since graduation), but it was nice to also hang out with close friends we don't see as often as we would like and just enjoy the night out. Such fun! Honey and Papaw Randy watched Addie on Saturday night and of course was spoiled rotten. Enjoy the random pictures. I saved the best for last...a video!

Addie thought Sadie needed a necklace. You can tell Sadie adores it!

I took Addie to Gymboree on Saturday morning for a free class. She LOVED it! I would definitely do the class if I didn't work 5 days a week. There are so many classes during the week and only a handful on the weekends and evenings. Ugh. We'll see though.

Robyn, Laura and I helped plan the reunion. Robyn lives in Los Angeles and Laura lives in Lexington. It was great to be together! We get together a few times a year.

So great catching up! I haven't seen Carrie (on the left) much since graduation. We hang out with Tracy and her family quite a bit and she does my hair. Carrie is 7 months pregnant and you can hardly tell!

Beautiful girls! Oh, the memories with these ladies...

On Sunday morning went over to Laura's parent's house to visit them and see Dane. Addie kept lovin' on him. Here she is giving him a hug and saying "Awww" at the same time.

I love this girl and her cute boy!

Addie also wanted to help out by giving Dane his pacifier.

Yes, there is nothing on the screen. This is a video, really just audio, of Addie on Sunday night when she was supposed to be asleep. We put her in bed and she did this for 30 minutes before finally going to sleep. "Addie, Addie, Addie, Mommy, Mommy, Mommy, Daddy, Daddy, Daddy..." I guess she was practicing talking. It was so funny! Turn up the sound.

Apple Festival weekend

Last weekend we went up to see my parents in Bloomfield, IN. It was the small town's big annual weekend of the Apple Festival. There is a festival at the park kinda like a county fair/arts & crafts fair with a ton of food. On Sunday there is a parade with a ton of old tractors, church floats, old cars, etc. Very cute and quaint!

We went to the festival, checked out old cars, went to the local library, ate lots of good food and rode rides. While Jeremy and my dad went fishing my mom, Addie and I walked around the town square and went to the local library. It was pretty cold on Saturday so we didn't spend as much time at the festival as we would have liked to. On Sunday we went to my dad's church and then stayed for the parade. Addie loved the parade! We had to keep running after her because she would run into the middle of the street getting candy.

It was a wonderful, fall weekend and reminded us how we don't get to see my parents enough. Have a great week!

Doesn't our Addison Grace look all grown up here? Showing off her cute overalls and bow in her hair. Finally she is wearing bows! We think she likes them because she loves to play dress up. :)

Another merry-go-round. This time she wasn't as excited...

...but she did love the slide!!!

On the wagon ride back to my parent's house from the festival. Addie cried when we got off because she liked it so much. :)

The fire department gave out hats at the parade.

Catching on quickly to grabbing the candy...

...and then putting it in the bag. She got the beads from the parade too.

Grammy and Grandpa were in the parade for my dad's church. She went running into the streets as soon as she saw them. Too cute!

And this is the Bloomfield Elvis impersonator and state legislator all in one! HA!

With Grammy and Grandpa. The theme of the parade was related to the 60's, can you tell? :)

Quick video

I accidentally uploaded the wrong video. Here is Addie and Dylan dancing in Florida! Well, it is more like spinning in circles and doing whatever cousin Dylan is doing. It feels like so long ago! Boo! :(

I'll update pics/video from our weekend at the Apple Festival. Good times!
