Halloween

The girls' daycare had a costume parade and party on Halloween.  We went there, but didn't get much of a picture.  Here are a lot of the kids dancing in their costumes.  Too many princesses to count!

We went over to the Wilde's house for dinner and trick-or-treating.  My parents stayed back at the house while we took the kids around the neighborhood.  It was cold so we opted for the warmer ladybug outfit for Kate.  Clearly she didn't mind based on her expressions below!  Love it!

Ladybug, Princess Aurora, Buzz and a UofL Football player

Crazy that the youngest cousin was the most cooperative this time!  Clearly the older kids were ready to trick-or-treat.

Addie walked all of one house in her high heels before changing them when she realized her older cousin was sprinting from house to house and she couldn't keep up. :)

And this little one thought she was as big as the older kiddos.  She tried so hard to keep up.

Kate caught on to the trick-or-treating thing pretty well.

Kate found a sucker and wanted it immediately.  She got upset when Jeremy took it away just to take the wrapper off.  Kate had a serious grip on it all night.  She also got upset that we put her in the wagon because she wanted to walk with the rest of the kids.

Sorting candy

A little fun before leaving and bedtime

You can see in this picture a little bit that we had a black-eyed princess this year.  She and 6 other kids were on a trampoline together when we went to Indy the prior weekend.  Clearly it didn't go well for her.  And yes, the hubbies were in charge that day. :)

Carving pumpkins

I'm still getting caught up from Halloween festivities.  Here are a few pics of pumpkin carving.  The Wildes and my parents came over the Monday before Halloween to carve.  We're still getting used to the fact that we are all in the same city now and can do things like this easily.  It is so great!

Kate LOVED digging out the seeds.

But then she started putting them back in.  Kate also loves jewelry and wears necklaces most days. :)

Serious concentration...

First look at the candles in the pumpkins.  Kate is trying to figure it all out. Her face is funny.

Tried to get a photo of the four kids with the four jack-o-lanterns lit up.

This one cracks me up!

Next up Halloween!

Trunk or Treat

Our church had a Trunk or Treat event for the second year in a row.  It was a fun night, but it was cold so we didn't last long outside.  We ended up spending most of our time inside for games, food and story time.

This is the best photo I have from Halloween this year of the two girls together.  So busy!  :)

Some people went all out with costumes and decorations.  It is awesome to see members of all ages take part in the event.

Yes, the Dawsons went all out again with costumes this year.  I have no clue where they got this firetruck, but it was awesome!

Here is "Aunt Leigh" about 38.5 weeks pregnant and you can't even tell!

She snagged a sucker again.

We have exciting news to share about my parents...they moved to Louisville!  And they got an apartment about a mile away from us.  My immediate family hasn't been in the same city in over 10 years.  I know they are looking forward to spending more time with their grandkids and we are looking forward to having a grandparent to call on when we have sick kids!  Ha!  (My mom is probably not going back to work.)  Seriously though, we are soooo excited!  My parents moved two days before Trunk or Treat.  They participated, but "dressed" up as Grammy and Grandpa. :)

The middle school and high school students led all the games in the gym.

There was a mummy game and Kate was in heaven with all of the toilet paper!  The girl constantly pulls on the toilet paper at home.

Addie finished the night with story time with Kim.

Boo at the Zoo

We went to the zoo for trick or treating a couple of Sundays ago.  It was beautiful outside!  We got there right at 5:00 and beat most of the crowd.  We met up with the Tremaynes and Elmers for the evening.

Kate didn't want to sit in the wagon.  She is wanting to be Miss Independent like her big sister!  Uh-oh!

Princess Aurora

Grayson dressed up as Elvis.  The sideburns cracked me up!

Emery as Simba.  He wasn't a big fan of the head.

Two princesses!  Addie was in heaven.

Kate is into Elmo right now.  She hasn't seen Sesame Street too much, but I think she likes him because she can say his name. :)

Our ladybug.  Love this photo!

Kate was a little fussy (yep, the double ear infection) so she was easily entertained by a sucker.  Jeremy said, "Let's start counting all of the people judging us."  Trust me, she gets suckers everyday.  Ha!

Love Kate's sticky smile with the Alice in Wonderland characters.

Addie LOVES Ariel!  And I happened to know Ariel.  Gretchen went through GSA (the program I work for) in Musical Theatre.

This picture cracks me up!  Addie REALLY wanted to take her picture with the pirates.  She wanted me to be in the picture with her, but HAD to have it taken.  Look at her face!

She wasn't scared of these characters.
 Sweet sisters!

Kate wasn't sure about Princess Fiona
