Family Photos

We got pictures taken at the end of July for Kate's 1 year pics and family pics.  Brittany with Halo Photography did a wonderful job.  She did Kate's newborn session.  We went out to Farmington, which is an old Historic home and has beautiful grounds, at about 9:00 a.m..  Kate was really tired, Addie was being temperamental and it was pretty hot.  They turned out pretty good considering the circumstances.  Now I just have to figure out what to print and frame. :)

Bats Game

In early June we went to a Louisville Bats game for Jeremy's dad's birthday.  It was a fun event for the family.

Mamaw and Kate

Addie had been going back and forth with pull-ups at night (she went weeks without them last December, but strong-willed girl changed her mind in January).  We told her if she went an entire week with no pull-ups and no accidents she could get ice cream at the game.  Jeremy treated her to the biggest cone she has ever had!  Happy to say that we have had no more pull-ups at night for a while now!

Early summer catch up

I haven't been good about the blog over the past few months (mostly because I am busiest at work in the summer) so I thought I would so a few posts to catch up on some pics.

Addie took ballet at the Louisville Ballet School from January until May.  We may not do it this fall, but may start it back up at the beginning of the year.  Addie really liked her dance class.  And she will be the first to correct you and say, "No, it's called Creative Movement." She is starting soccer next week.  

We hung out with David and the fam over Memorial Weekend. We celebrated Dylan's 6th birthday (so hard to believe) and then had a water fight outside.

On Memorial Day my parents came in town and we went swimming at David's neighborhood pool.

Ok, she'll hate me for this later and I probably shouldn't have posted this BUT I had to take a picture of Kate's legs and butt.  The girl has always had some thighs on her.  They stick out on the sides!  Love it!  Everyone says she is petite, but this picture shows she still packs it on. :)
